I have ALWAYS had terrible dental anxiety. The fear and anxiety are two main reasons I hadn’t been to the dentist in such a long time. I did have a family dentist but they really didn’t do much to ease my nerves and only really cleaned my teeth. On my birthday this past year (August 2024) I made the decision to get all on four implants on the top. Dr. Shane Wingler did my surgery. He also performed my second surgery yesterday due to bone grafts needing to be redone. I’m stubborn and did not allow things to heal properly before going back to rigorous work plus he had to pull 12 teeth the first go round (I was completely out). He took his time and was so patient with me when he had to redo the bone grafts and make me an entire new implant. I was orally sedated but awake the second time. Dr. Shane wingler was so compassionate, and professional. It took hours and I had zero anxiety for the first time. I was relaxed so much so that I was singing along with his amazing choice of music. To ANYONE who has ever experienced complete and total dental anxiety to the point that it physically enables them to move I highly recommend dr Shane wingler. He’s simply the best of the best and his office ladies are top notch as well. From start to finish it was an amazing experience.
